Reporter Angela and cameraman Scott are doing a story about night firefighters in Los Angeles. During the recording, they receive an emergency call from a building where police investigate an account of horrible screams. There, the TV crew and firefighters find a lady infected with a virus that turns people into cannibals. They are still in there when the authorities decide to seal the building and the attack really begins.
